In one of the hardest fought matches ever to take place at Neill Road, our B’s lost their Quarter Final match against Elizabeth Vale. The score was 1-1 after extra time and 6-7 after a penalty shootout.

Our C’s continued their campaign defeating Mt Barker C2 0-3 in their Round 1 catch-up match.

Yes lads, my sincerist apologies for the Elizabeth Vale goal. It was me who scored a terrific own headed goal past our keeper to equalise.

Need the ribbing to start now i.e on Monday so can get over it (somewhat!) by next Thursday for the next game.

Punichment = crate of crownies, butonly to those who turn up for the full training session on Tuesday night.

PS to all the club supporters, As,Bs,Cs, coaches, grannies whoever shouted their support, it was the best support I have ever witnessed at an FC Adelaide game – a real pleasure to play in – ‘cept for the almighty F*** UP!!

  2. Davy

PPS go the Steely eyed C’s – well done agaqin lads!

  3. Keg

    Can’t wait for Tuesday training!!!

  4. Cosi

    Because of the Crownies?

  5. The Godfather

Congrats B’s for making it to the quarter finals – At least we’ve set the benchmark for next year…

  6. Davy

    Keg
you should have double the allotment since the ButtaBs wont be there!

  7. Don Pousti

Crownies are a bit upmarket for the Prez so in keeping with his social status give him
    some West End Draughts :)

  8. Davy

    A crate of each so?

  9. Don Pousti

Sounds fair Davy but just give him the crate no beers :)

  10. Sharokhy Rocky Rockyballs

If Davy wasn’t there with that fantastic diving header we would have conceded anyway by the two unmarked Vale players behind him. Guaranteed.

Here’s my unofficial nominees from the Killa B’z for the inagrual “If he could ……… we would have won” award:

Rocky – “If he could control the ball and shoot we would have won”
Tass – “If he could command his 6 yard box we would have won”
Kim – “If he could have dazzled the last defender on a mazy run we would have won”

    And the winner is….(drumroll)……

DAVY – “If he could have played his own position and left the rest of the team to concentrate on their respective postions we would have won”

    Congratulations!!!!

The only thing guaranteed in fussball Rockyballs is that the ball is round :)

  12. Davy

Thats what I did because nobody listened to me anyway- so the next noimnation is…

also never can be a credible and sustainable nomination in the first place because some guys dont even know what their positions are when supercoach and the captain tells them

  13. Cosi

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. La pelota no se mancha!

  14. Don Pousti

You are a kreas Cosi, give it up junior jackson :)

  15. Cosi

LOL. Go work on your own website PIMP!

  16. Keg

And get some of your Ho’s to presentation night PIMP!

  17. Don Pousti

The Ho’s have already been booked by other clubs who are happy
to spend the big bucks unlike cough cough others :)

  18. Bodø

Why would you want to bring yourself down to their level anyway?

  19. Davy

After another great turn out at training in the rain by the ButtaBs last night (grand total of 2 + Jim), I am pleased to advise that there are plenty of beers (sorry Keg only Crownies) still left for the lads on Thursday.

Be on notice/very afraid that big Jim now has the “NEW BOOTS” (flashy yellow ones, but not as bright as Darius’ orange boots) and “CYCLING SHORTS” in his posession and is looking to start off this weekend “HIMSELF”. That means someone will be getting the dreaded chop from the start ….. who will it be???

Keg I am disappointed that all my mentoring hasnt paid off, hope to one day play for the mighty FC Adelaide
