History

Our shield is a symbol of our history. It represents the heritage of two South Australian Amateur Soccer League clubs that merged in 2003 to create who we are today.

With the word soccer being phased out the club changed its name to FC Adelaide in 2007. A new dedicated committee is in place and the club has a permanent home base at the Western Youth Centre, Cowandilla. The club’s restructure has breathed new life into the team. We have a proud club history and are set to only get stronger.

Club Culture

FC Adelaide welcomes all players to the club. We maintain a social atmosphere throughout the season and are an open and accepting group. FC Adelaide is not tied to any denomination. We are made up of all races and our only religion is football.
