Round 7 saw the boys from Horseshoe Bay venture into old Adelaide town as the Southern Breakers faced off against FC Adelaide in what many believed would be an easy day out for the lads from Neill Road. The gods were smiling as the Breakers thankfully didn’t bring any of the southern weather with them and the mild autumn sun set the perfect scene for an entertaining afternoon of football. The First team returned to winning ways and the Reserves can keep singing after another comprehensive victory. Read more…

FC Adelaide First Team’s next cup game will be on Saturday 9th June 2007 against Bosna Adelaide. Bosna is a Division 3 Sunday team and have had a very successful season to date. They are currently top of their division. This is a home game and kick-off is at 2:45pm.

Round 6 saw the Africa United Allstars make the short trip across Sir Donald Bradman Drive to the Western Youth Centre for this season’s first “western derby” clash with FC Adelaide. Conditions were perfect down at Neill Road and although the weatherman predicted rain, the only rain we were treated to was of the goal variety. The crowd on hand witnessed two action-packed and, at times, controversial games with FC Adelaide having mixed results – a win to the Reserves and an unlucky defeat for the First team. Read more…
